About Me

I am a second year PhD student in CSE at the University of Michigan advised by Prof. Ang Chen. My research interests lie broadly at the intersection of systems and security.

Prior to this, I was a researcher at NUS, where I worked with Prof. Ben Leong on internet fairness. I received my Bachelor's in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, India. I completed my Bachelor's thesis at Systems & Networking lab at NUS under Prof. Chan Mun Choon.

  • Worked on using programmable switches for augmenting scalable in-network fairness and usinf ns-3 for validating the models.

  • Worked on securing in-band control channels by implementing authenticated encryption(based on ASCON cipher-suite) on programmable switches.
  • Worked on offloading certain 5G Centralized Unit utilities onto Tofino switches, improving the CU processing latency by 80x. Work published as a SIGCOMM poster.

  • Reviewed & designed motion characteristics to help detect such mobility problems with a 96% accuracy.

  • Implemented Local Binary Patterns (CLBP & MRELBP) using Tensorflow for texture classification.
